QUILLUS FOR ROOFERS

Turn one roof into ten estimates.

Your customer's roof is a billboard. Their neighbors already know yours is the truck that just left. Quillus mails 100 of them a postcard — with a satellite view of their own roof — before the sealant dries.

THE MATH

One roof you already sold. Ten more from the same street.

A roofing job in a residential neighborhood is the loudest, most visible piece of marketing you'll ever run. Quillus turns the visibility you've already paid for into qualified estimates.

$128

One campaign

100 postcards. One street. In mailboxes in about a week. About what you'd spend on a single set of Facebook ads that nobody clicks.

2–4%

Typical response rate

Hyperlocal postcards with a recognizable hook (your truck just left) outperform generic direct mail by 3–5×. Expect 2–4 inquiries per 100 cards.

$8K–$30K

One closed reroof pays for 60+ campaigns

You don't need a miracle response rate. You need one sale per campaign to print money. Two in a year and the math stops being optional.

Response rate estimates based on industry direct-mail benchmarks. Your numbers will vary by neighborhood, season, and offer.

~2 miles

of walking to reach 100 homes

5–7 hour day

before a single conversation

MEASURED ACROSS 1,200 U.S. CITIES

Knocking those 100 doors yourself is a 5–7 hour day.

In the median U.S. city, reaching the 100 nearest homes on foot means about 2 miles of walking — about 40 minutes before a single conversation happens. Quillus puts your card in all 100 mailboxes in about a week, for $128, and every card reports who scanned.

Walking distance is a straight-line lower bound; doors-per-hour uses published trade benchmarks (15–20/hr suburban).

HOW IT WORKS

Nobody else in roofing marketing does this.

Built for the way roofs actually get sold: visible, local, fast, measurable.

01 — See the whole street

Every home around the job, mapped — and every one you can click.

Drop the job-site address and Quillus maps the 100 nearest homes on real satellite imagery. Click any one for its property intelligence — a look at the roof and the house, plus the neighborhood’s value and income. The whole block, sized up before you spend a stamp.

The Quillus send map: 100 homes along a street on satellite imagery, with a property-intelligence card open showing a home’s street view and its neighborhood value and income.

02 — Know the house before you knock

Every home comes with its own intel.

That property card carries a street-level look at the roof and the house, plus block-group value and income from Census data. Scope the work and qualify the neighborhood before you mail — no guessing which roofs are worth the stamp.

Quillus property intelligence panel: a street view of the home plus its neighborhood home-value and income estimates.

03 — Own the street, not a ZIP

The 100 physically closest roofs — measured, never rented.

Same-street targeting draws the homes along the job’s street, in order of nearness. Not a carrier route, not a ZIP list you rented — the actual neighbors who watched your crew work.

Quillus same-street targeting: 100 homes selected as a tight corridor along the job site’s street on satellite imagery.

04 — Speed before they forget

Finish the tear-off Monday. Neighbors get the card by the weekend.

Most roofers' postcards arrive a month after the dumpster's gone. By then the prospect has moved on. Quillus gets cards printed and into the mail stream within a couple of business days, so they hit mailboxes in about a week — while your sign is still in the yard and the smell of fresh shingles is still in the air.

05 — Attribution down to the house

Know which neighbor scanned. Re-target the ones who did.

Every Quillus postcard carries its own QR code linked to one specific address. When a scan comes in, you see the address, the time, and how often. Build a hot list of the neighbors who hovered but didn't call. Follow up. Close.

COMMON QUESTIONS

The questions every roofer asks first.

A full 100-home campaign runs about $128. No contract, no subscription, no minimums. Pay per campaign.

Proximity Mail Marketing (PMM) is direct-mail marketing in which each campaign is anchored to a completed job at a specific address and mailed to a fixed count of that address's nearest neighboring homes — typically the 100 nearest — rather than to a ZIP code, carrier route, or purchased list. The distance required to reach those homes is the campaign's proximity radius, the category's unit of measurement; each mail piece carries its own tracked response code, so results are measured per household rather than per campaign. That's exactly what a Quillus campaign is: your finished roof is the anchor, the 100 nearest mailboxes are the audience.

Cards are printed, sorted, and in the USPS mail stream within a couple of business days of your order. Delivery follows standard first-class timelines — typically 2–5 days after that. Plan on about a week from order to mailbox.

No. Pick a template, drop in a photo of your finished roof, and you're done. Most roofers are ready to ship in under five minutes.

We geolocate the job site you enter, then pull the 100 physically closest mailable addresses. No ZIP-code shortcuts, no rented lists.

No. Your customer's address anchors the geo search but is never printed on the cards. Recipients never learn who your customer was.

Yes — and you should. Upload before/after shots, crew photos, the finished roof at golden hour. Whatever closes.

None. Send one campaign and never another, or send one after every job. You're not on the hook.

Every card has a unique QR. You'll see exactly who scanned, when, and from what address. If a campaign underperforms, we'll work with you on the next one.
